I like to cook, but I love to eat. Pinterest has provided some winners (as well as some losers) to add to my repertoire of recipes, and it's also given me something to drool over when nothing else will do. If I made half of the things I pinned, I'd surely have the girth of Celine Dion's wedding gown. And by the way, did you know her headpiece had to be sewn into her scalp? True story. My wedding headpiece consisted of my own hair.
I'm going to share with you just a few of my favorite Pinterest dishes I've tried thus far. Check out my Mama's Gotta Eat board for LOTS more! There are well over 200 recipes pinned on the board (yikes!) and I am going to have to split the board soon to one for desserts and one for non-desserts--the 2 food groups by which I abide. The recipes I'm sharing today on The Grey Blog are not the only recipes I've made! There are too many to feature.
From this blog post, you should be able to find the recipes by clicking the little citation under the photos. Happy Eating!
Peanut Butter & Greek Yogurt Dip: 2 ingredients-worth of Heaven. I'd like to give it a whirl with vanilla Greek yogurt instead of plain, just to compare.
S'mores Crack Dip: Easy, delicious, and no fire required. Unless, that is, you set the dip on fire when it's under the broiler like we did. Seriously people, just a few seconds will do it.
Italian Layer Bake: Has the potential to be good. There is way, way too much lunchmeat in this. It was very salty. In the future, I'd maybe cut out the turkey and decrease the other meats, but add in something sweet, like some peppers. Banana peppers would be really good baked in, too.

O to the M to the G - the S'mores Crack Dip looks freakin' amazing!!
ReplyDeleteUh, yeah. It's very good. You should see what I'm going to make this afternoon! :)
