The Guilt-ed Age.

Women have the right to as many guilty pleasures as they please.  So back off, punk.

I guess men do too, although if they have them, I don't think that they refer to them as such.  When was the last time you heard a dude admitting that watching a certain TV show was a "guilty pleasure?"  Must be one of those WOMAN things, like aprons, pantyhose, powdering noses in the bathroom en masse, and ordering iced tea with lunch.  *Sigh*  WOMEN.

According to Wikipedia, a guilty pleasure is "something one enjoys and considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it."

And can I just qualify that the word "guilty" for me, personally, doesn't really come into play here.  I feel guilty about very little in my life.  I am unsure of what that says about me, but I think it says I'm partially awesome.  Not totally sure, though.  Thoughts?

When I searched Google Images for a complementary graphic, I was met with a whole bunch of pictures of Ashley Tisdale (apparently she cut an album entitled 'Guilty Pleasure'...no comment), some pictures that seemed to be promoting adult entertainment facilities, and then, this:

Shakespeare in Love.  I can't even with this movie.  LOVE.  Colin Firth.  The costumes.  The lack of personal hygiene.  It just all comes together in this one.

Love Actually.  Colin Firth.  Laura Linney totally at the mercy of duty & her conscience.  Keira Knightly looking perfectly emaciated (bitch).  I cry at the exact same part every time.  And it's not when Mr. Bean is preparing the Christmas gift for Snape's girlfriend.

Another ENORMOUS guilty pleasure I have is listening to certain artists.  I love lots of different kinds of music very much, but give me some Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, or Jamiroquai and I'm dancin'.  I love dancin'.  Ow!
